Rob Connelly

My story is about finding my true self.

I am a husband, and father, a son, a friend, a coach, a musician, and a bunch of other things; but these things are not my full and true identity.

I am here on this earth to evolve and learn, and to help others on their journey to do the same.

I had to lose myself.

After living my life based on external values and through the frameworks of values and beliefs I had accepted though they were NOT MY OWN as an xtian Pastor, there was a reckoning.

Song: "I can rely on Me"

"Many more storms to come

But I know I can make it.

I know I'm strong enough

I supply my own peace

I'm good enough, I can  rely on me"

I'm still on the journey of healing and growth.

I'm still a husband, father, son, and bunch of other things too.

But mostly, I am my own person on my path. I'd be honored if I can help you on yours.

Song: "The Reckoning"

"There was always a reckoning coming one day

A needed correction for a runaway life.

You can keep on going come what may

But there will be a reckoning one of these days"

I had to find myself from scratch in the middle of my life in order to rebuild my life.

I began studying everything from neuroscience and trauma to the world's wisdom traditions, and I found that I already knew the path to healing and growth, I just didn't actually know myself.

I am enough, and I can rely on me.

Song: "Can't Control Me"

"My mind can be a liar, I'm listening to the part of me that's higher
My thoughts have a lot to say, but my true Self knows the way
It's time to find that stillness in my soul

Where I know that I am whole
And the things I can't control - Can't control me
